Extended Absence

I have a new shiny macbook pro! My ancient PC was on its last legs and it took hours to do any work (seriously, it took 5 mins for gmail to load) so I am behind. I did purchase a domain so once I get that up and running I will post a link. Until then, I will continue to post whatever content blogger actually allows me to upload. As you can see my massive failed attempt to post my FUNCTIONAL pre-loader. It does work I tell ya! Now I just have a giant image that says slut cave. But c'mon, who doesn't looooove a slut cave?

Hey y'all! So I just got my comp fixed (thanks Alex) and now I can share my lovely works of art with all my lovelies! Awwwwww.

So, tons of photoshopping was done to achieve this stunning look. Tools included patch, liquify, transform, lots of digital painting....and some other tools that I can't remember the names for....

Lips were challenging...

I like the way the eyes and circuitry turned out. Yeah.

First, I must mention that I am in no way affiliated with Dr. Martens. This shoe ad was done for a photography class and I am currently having an obsessive love affair with the classic boot. The first shot is the ad and the second is the photo that I began with.

This was created in the same fashion as the PaperZoo project. Ink line drawings and background using acrylics (splatters & finger painting!). Scanned all images into Photoshop and got to work.

This is my first attempt at Illustrator EVER! We were instructed to trace an Aztec design and fill with colour. I'm not really satisfied with the colour palette I chose but I don't have time to be fussy! More work to come...
